| Students
in the classroom will take in a large number of vocabulary and concepts
derived from western philosophy and gain a very strong understanding of
global philosophical concepts and ideas. The student has time during the
classes to question, inquire, discuss, and consider with the group the
outcomes and thoughts concerning the concepts taught and presented.
We cover in the classroom a large number of different philosophical fields in a relatively short time period starting with basic foundations of belief systems and moving forward through different fields in philosophy. Things discusses are topics such as Faith, Mysticism, Skepticism, Cynicism, Metaphysics, Ontology, Reality, Existence, Epistemology on into Logic and modern concepts in Philosophy. The course ends with a students presentation in Philosophy of their choice. |
